Unfortunately I find myself with more plastic ones than I can use. They are SADLY made of plastic which is downright horrible. So in order to keep them out of the landfill and waste stream I make them into grocery bags.
They hold up pretty well and I have plenty of raw materials.
I wish I could buy feed in paper or cloth.

Where_are_the_sane_people?https://www.blogger.com/profile/16325166800209659505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8613339135823962078.post-86819023411363924142019-07-07T07:59:39.627-04:002019-07-07T07:59:39.627-04:00Great idea!!Great idea!!michellehttps://homesteadingforwomen.com/animals/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8613339135823962078.post-656015305601498422014-12-12T17:59:10.003-05:002014-12-12T17:59:10.003-05:00I'm glad that you like them! Apparently women used to pick out feed bags that they liked the color and patterns on so they could make things out of them. This was all new to me. Cute socks, hope the chickens enjoy them.Terryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06545898153779274204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8613339135823962078.post-40670047128523019182014-12-11T06:17:43.549-05:002014-12-11T06:17:43.549-05:00Very interesting stockings :)
